Otiko Djaba No More A Minister, Now Ambassador To Italy After President Nana Addo Reshuffled Ministers

The current minister for Gender, Children and Social protection, Otiko Djaba has been ‘sacked’ from her position in a re-shuffling exercise by the President, Nana Akuffo Addo.

In a press release issued by the office of the president, the Minister will no longer have her job as the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection. Otiko Djaba who has been heavily criticised by the opposition party in the past will now be the Ambassador to Italy, should she pass her vetting.

Otiko Djaba’s position will now be replaced by Hon. Cynthia Morrison, MP for Agona West constituency should she pass her vetting.

Paulina Tangoba Abayage, who was the Ambassador to Italy is now the Upper East Regional Minister designate.

Other people too were reshuffled. Mustapha Hamid who was the minister for Information will now be replaced with Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, as he’s been moved to become the minister for Inner City and Zongo Development.
