Outspoken member of the ruling New Patriotic Party and MP for Assin Central – Kennedy Agyapong has ‘rubbished’ questions asked by BBC journalist – Thomas Naadi during an interview over the sad killings of Ahmed.
Ahmed Suale, a former Tiger Eye investigative journalist was slain on his way home around the Madina municipality. Since his death, rumor has wide spread alleging that Mr. Kennedy contributed to his death.
During the BBC Interview, Mr. Agyapong pronounced; “The motive behind… for circulating those pictures was to warn Ghanaians of that guy when they come to their premise because that is what they do,”
Mr. Agyapong was also quick to mention that he sympathize with the family. He also mentioned that the journalist was exposed to a lo of danger considering his line of work.
An excerpt from the interview reads;
BBC journalist: Did you contribute in any way to the death of Ahmed Suale?
Kennedy: That’s rubbish! Ask me intelligent Questions…
BBC journalist: Okay, what message do you have for Ahmed Suale’s fathers family.
Kennedy: Good. I sympathize with them and it is unfortunate.
