Late afternoon political talk show host of Accra-based Radio XYZ, Salifu Maase popularly called Mugabe has made shocking revelations about Joy Fm’s investigative journalist, Manasseh Azuri Awuni, MyNewsGh.com has filed.
He disclosed in an interview on Kofi TV that he saw some persons chasing the journalist with cutlasses and guns baying for his blood.
“I saw in a vision that some gun-wielding and machete-wielding individuals chasing Manasseh to kill. On my programme, I asked that all members of the inky fraternity remember him in their prayers. I fasted and prayed for three for my brother Manasseh so that any evil plots against him will backfire in the name of Jesus. I even prayed for him on my show after the fasting”, he revealed.
According to him, he asked that the police provide adequate security for the journalist because from his vision, there were attempts by some faceless individuals to have him killed.
“I did not ask anyone to go attack him with cutlasses orguns. All I asked was that they provide him with the needed security becausethey things he has exposed, if care is not taken we will not hear anythingpleasant. Salifu Maase, aka Mugabe,is currently facing interrogation by the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) over claims that the NPP would kill Manasseh Azuri Awuni just like Ahmed Suale, the private investigator of ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who was gruesomely killed recently by some assailants.
Mugabe claimed he had been possessed by the holy Spirit’ and said “The fake ones (prophets) can come out and say whatever they like but I’m speaking in the spiritual realm. Manasseh Awuni, I am speaking to your parents and I’m not speaking as Mugabe but the Holy Spirit is using me”
Making an appearance at the CID Headquarters on March 13, 2019, the broadcast journalist was subjected to hours of grilling and given the opportunity to listen to the tape in which he made the wild allegations relating to the incident.
MyNewsGh.com sources at the CID Headquarters revealed that he was asked in the company of his lawyer to name the persons he claimed were planning to murder Manasseh in eleven months.
