Early this morning, we pressed here on how Ghana International, Christian Atsu, helped freed 10 prisoners by paying their court fines.
He came to the rescue of the convicts through the Crime Check Foundation.
Well, news reaching CelebritiesBuzz.com.gh indicates that one of the prisoners got out only to be told that his father passed away a week ago.
Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, who manages the Crime Check Foundation made this known via his Facebook page.
“The bitter sweet moment when your fine has been paid for you to go home, but you get to know a week earlier that your dad has passed on out of pain thinking about the strange circumstances you were imprisoned. Life is not fair!”, he posted.
Below is the photo of the gentle-man…he’s the one in the middle with “France” written on his shirt.
