SHS Graduate Goes Blind fixing Artificial Eyelashes in the Eastern Region


In the Senior High School (SHS), a 24 year-old graduate, is rapid losing her sight because of continuous fixing of eyelashes.

Maame Esi who live in Adweso a suburb of Koforidua in the Eastern Region of the New Juaben Municipality with her brother,, according to the Paa Yaw to a report by Koforidua-based Bryt on FM radio is noted that for always fixing her eyelashes from the time when she accomplished her secondary education.

In spite of numerous warnings from her father, she became unreceptive until she fixed the last one which has landed her in difficulty.

According to the details of the report, some quantity of glue used to fix the eyelashes dropped into the pupil of the eye which has resulted in some health problems.



In just about two weeks, when we couldn’t set our eyes on her, I went to her room to find out if she was there.

According to Paa Yaw views, Maame Esi said she did not believe the glue would affect her sight.
